Does anyone know of a builder out in West Texas who could take my 71 bug and make it a SCORE compliant Class 5/1600?
Thanks for any help in advance. |

No, but I could hook you up with an already proven car in SoCal. Where in Texas would you race a 5-16? _________________ Richard

Haven't found a place in Texas yet but plan to take out to CA/AZ and run there. I'm in LA now so could go visit the place while I'm here.
Where are you suggesting?
Thanks |

Someone at Baja Racing of Texas would know (you can race with them as well). I know there are at least a few offroad shops in Texas (big place though), one of which had a 5 Unlimited, so they've worked with Baja's before. _________________ '72 Std Beetle - 1641 CC

Loren is deaf, so he may not answer the phone... I suggest texting or emailing. This is from his facebook page:

He was on the COPS team before moving to Texas.
I had him co-drive with me once. That was the last race I finished and we won the class... only 3 of us, but I still won _________________ Tehachapi, CA
