whether you washed your bus at the power washer, the drive through wash, the local fund raiser with scantily clad women wish sudsy sponges and wet t-shirts, or if you washed the bus in the front yard, post pics of your freshly washed bus HERE!!
also, let us know how you washed it, what tools and soap you used, and your preferred drying method.
i used turtle wax Zip Wax Car Wash, a yellow foam sponge, a scrub brush with long handle, a blue plastic bucket, and the local power wash. the power wash was used to rinse the bus, and also to fill the bucket. the bus was washed by hand, the insides of the wheel wells scrubbed with the brush (lots of crud/muck/mud came out). the bus was washed twice, rinsed multiple times, especially underneath. i spent $6.00 at the power washer. Dried the bus with a terrycloth towel.

all prettied up and no more road salt:

A lot of "Bus washing" topic recently. Here's my contribution:
That's my BOSS washing old Maggie at last years company car wash. All money raised went to the local Battered Women's Shelter. _________________ '73 Transporter 1.7L Dual Carb

Looking good Hazetguy!
Here is my bus freshly washed. I use a terry cloth towel and dish soap and always have the water running. I figure it is best to flush away the dirt rather than smearing the grit around. I use Mothers wax.

Actually I didn't take the picture (I was washing the front of the bus). I think he was in the middle of doing a "Power to the People" fist and saying "Yeah Man!!" all at the same time and it just came out weird but it was the only washing picture I had. Plus.... C'Mon.... how cool is it to have your boss was your bus!!!! _________________ '73 Transporter 1.7L Dual Carb

I use a wash and wax car soap then while it's still wet i spray on Turtle Wax Spray and Shine and dry it off with a "soft cloth". _________________ Jody

This is from about three years ago. It almost broke my heart the other day when I saw this again... seeing how much my youngest daughter has grown.
