Hi,
Today the task was to finish the wheels.
I tried to find a paint who matchs with the original L58 ruby of my hubs wheels, found this red in the RAL catalog, that's the good red, it'll get patina in the next years
The NOS hubcaps clips are now fitted, it's much better now

If somebody could help me, I'd to know the right way to mount the 5-60 firestone tyres, I've putted the side with the small firestone emblem and the smaller lateral rib outside, is it the right way ?
I guess there is a reason to have a rib more thick on one side...
Looks more beautiful to me as I did
What do you think about ?

wow, the paint on yours looks much better than on mine. Mine is completely oxidized. looks almost black.
i also still have the original paint wheels on mine. missing fenders and hood though.
what does your interior look like? is it serviceable? mine is all there but not pretty...
edit: looked at the older pics, your interior is great looking
i will be watching _________________ regards

Hi mandraks,
Thanks you, yes the paint is in very good condition
My interior is like new, only 2 holes in the card door near the handle, I guess the first owner use to wear rings in the past !
I'll shoot the interior soon when it'll go back in the car

Hi,
Today, I've finished the 6mm fuel tap I sourced fews time ago.
Looks like new now
Does somebody knows if there was differents style of fuel tap filter ? I bought a brand new reproduction, the thread is not the same, and it's smaller , is that possible to have 2 styles of filters ?
On the left the original used one on the right the repro
Next stage is to finish the bosch horn...

I also finished to remove the rust from the heater channel I found fews times ago, I blended the grey and silver paint to look like the NOS one.
The original style boots straps that I sourced for the gear box have are also fitted the tubes
