Was in Scotland recently and saw a public service advert on tv for gambling awareness help.
I do think they picked the right vehicle for gambling addiction.

Not sure I understand the storyboard there.

Did they gamble and live happily ever after, or did they lose their house?

And why is it a LHD.

I'm so confused.

It encourages gamblers to take a break from their gambling, to cool off and think about making better decisions- instead of continuing to gamble away their rent and groceries. Like going out and enjoying some nature.

And why is it a LHD.
Probably stock footage?

I think the idea is that you should own a Vanagon so you don’t have any money leftover for the casino. You’re still gonna gamble though, my Vanagon is one long chronic gamble.

Sorry, no pics,, but, a great little emergency hack.
Vegging out watching a rerun of an older tv show called "Scorpion", about a team of geniuses who fix world problems,, or some such stuff.

Anyhoo, part of the team is in Bosnia trying to retrieve some kinda code and rescue a Programmer.

They're under fire from the bad guys and need a vehicle to escape. Part of the team runs into a barn and finds,, A VANAGON! A bright green one, with a beige interior and A/C.
Problem is, it won't start cuz the V-belt is missing. So, they get on their Sat phone and contact another genius in the USA for help. Guy tells them they need something strong, flexible and able to handle tension.
All the team has is; a multi-tool, something else and a roll of toilet paper.

Now, pay attention. The genius in the USA, tells the team, if they braid the toilet paper in a bi-lateral, hexagonal weave, that that'll strengthen the paper and should work as a V-belt.

Lo and behold, it worked and they rescued everybody and the girl!

So there ya go! Not only is TP good for cleaning yer bottom, but ya can use it as an emergency v-belt so your van can actually start and you can get the girl...

A quick look through the thread and search and I did not see anyone mention a new series in Netflix "The Sinner" starring Bill Pullman. T3 features prominently in one or two episodes nearing the conclusion of the first season.
