Gage Cluster housing --what year is this?

I am thinking of replacing by 1977 dash housing with another one I bought. The bottom one is my 1977. I like the top one better with the words and colour. What year is this from?

IIRC 73/74. I don't know if it went into 75. Check pics in the Archives and User Manual section.

I also prefer the illuminated ones, and don't understand why they ditched them.

My '75 had the top cluster in it.
