Here's my newest 'updated' tach that I am building. Still 12 volt, but resembles the earlier 6 volt version.

I started with the same tach as 'grdubuque' and put a chrome ring on it and printed a backing image that matched the colour of the other gauges and re-coloured the needle and button, i think it came out quite nice. What do you think?

I picked up this 60mm VDO rev counter from ebay a while back, not sure what car its from, audi 100 coupe?? ....any ideas?
It is dated 9.68.Part number looks to be 230/26/2

I have a 64 Ghia Clock the large clock, that is available for a small fee and also a Speedo. I had a guy here on the forum that I bought a new speedo and had him paint the inside with an orange needle, Came out great. I sent him my clock that was already converted to 12 volt and he painted it red to match and put orange needles on it. I see if I can get some pictures. I have been using just the regular cockpit version VDO. I just need a Tach one now.
