Hey folks I just flew into Myrtle Beach SC to pick up a vehicle and drive back to Canada (Sorry not a Westy). I was suppose to golf for two days but it is raining today and suppose to snow tomorrow (Glad I am spending my vacation here where it is snowing, could have stayed home).
Anywhere good to go to look at Westy stuff (Parts etc). Parts in the US are easier to get than in Canada.
Will be stopping in Reston, VA (Washington) and Frammingham, MA (Boston) on my way home.
Hope my next trip down here is to pick up a Syncro or something. That would be a much funner drive home. _________________ 84 Westy

If you're up for a slight detour and can get home by crossing to Maryland's Eastern Shore to head north there's an interesting all-VW parts and repair place near Easton MD. You'd just head for Annapolis on US 50 from Reston instead of heading for Baltimore on I-95. Last time I was by there they had VWs of all types. It's about a 1/4 mile off US 50, left on (I think) MD214 just before you reach Easton. I can find details if you're interested. Have fun! |
