That Flag Code thing is a joke I'm afraid, these days. I think it was made back when the chassis of a car was prominent. The last Flag Day parade I was at almost everyone had flags taped to their mirrors, visors (on convertibles), and one old 'Vette had an ratty, dirty, shaggy, Old Glory wadded and draped down the trunk while his Miss Whatever sat on the stars. I say fly your flag on your German car. Cars and America and the 4th of July, yeah! (sorry, England)

Just wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to Suebug & family, Bushaus (Brian) & family, Hot Dog fred & family(s), Ken & son, Martin'e and wife and also to all of you who tried to make it but couldn't ...(next year?). Oh, and My wife & family as well. Thanks for making the breakfast, parade and the event in general really fun.

Hope you all had a great time, and hope to see you all (and more) at the 2010 parade. The DVD's from the TV broadcast will be to me soon, and I'll need a day or so to add the extra footage and photos. I'll get copies out to you soon. Thanks again for making the 4th even more fun than usual!. Cool
