My nose high 85 just got leveled.

I cut some spacers out of a cutting board as per the post on here.

It gave me an 1.5" lift and leveled the van at 19", pretty high. My Monroe coil spring shocks top out now.

What shocks do I need now? Does anyone sell adapters to get my shocks back in there travel?

Thanks Jeff

I also drive an 85 westy with saggy ass syndrome, so I popped some spring helpers into my rear coils and it raised it up exactly 1.5 inches. Today I installed Bistein HD's and they are not topping out. Maybe you could switch to Bilsteins.

A question for you:

Now that you've raised up the back of your van you have changed the angles on your cv's. Are your cv's making any odd noises...do you feel any vibration at hwy speeds?

If you raise the rear it will make the cv angles greater.

I don't notice any noise or any other problems with the cv's.

Can I use syncro rear shocks?

I just ordered some shocks for a 05 Chevy Astro van that are suppose to be the same as the Syncro shocks, almost 3" taller than the Monroe coilovers.

NOW I just hope that the Syncro rear mounts are the same as the 2wd.

Anyone know?

Jeff

Does anyone know if the rear shock mounts on a Syncro are the same as a 2wd?

The Syncro shocks did fit, They are the same as Chevy Astro shocks, which most parts stores carry.
