I am looking for photos of hippie buses circa 1967. There were some beautiful paint jobs, with paisley patterns etc. Would like to apply one to one of my old buses. Searching through google didn't yield anything too interesting. Got one with a cool paint job, post it. Where can I find them??

In the gallery you can look through all models of buses and bays for lovely pictures with paisley patterns. You might find a couple with rainbow stickers. Rolling Eyes Laughing

I've often wondered if someday it would be acceptable on the samba to leave the original, 60s hippie paint on. It's no original paint but, for as obsessed with bus history some of the people in here are...

My bus came with dodgy 70s pin-striping, I've grown to adore it!
Your bus is beautiful, warts and all.
They're not faults, it's character!

If you search the gallery under hippie or hippy there are some that come up right off. Some crazy ones out there.

If you want early bus pictures of hippie bus paintings look at Ken Kesey's bus "Furthur" The Smithsonian almost took it.

Now I know why Canadians are consistently mocked on this site.Very Happy

From 1 Albertan to another welcome, where are you from? All you can do is search, search, search for pictures. They shouldn't be too hard to come by.

Post some pictures of your 58.
