I am assembling a 25hp that came as a basket case,a bit here and a bit there.
When installing the special allen head nuts do you put a head washer under them? I understand you use a seal, "O" ring on the long ones in the valve chambet. But I would think you would use a head washer like later models, but don't know for shure. Thanks

No washers, just the nuts. As you said, the longer nuts get O rings.
