Posted a WTB Ad for a 63 Ruby red fender. Ad clearly said original german paint, not resprayed. Gary called and said he had one. After 3 weeks I got the fender and it's an obvious older respray. Can't tell from the pictures that's why I asked about 5 times. I was clear, the ad was clear. Item misrepresented. Paid good money for nothing. _________________ 1962 15 window Deluxe Bus

I bought a pair of supposed NOS aluminum valve covers for my type one from this seller.
When I received them I noticed that someone had done some heavy modification to them on a milling machine removing part of the gasket retaining lip.
I contacted seller saying that this was not described in the item description or a picture posted showing this modification.
I told seller that was not the item that he described in the Ad.
No response or return email.
So I say watch out purchasing any items from this seller in the future.
lessoned learned, evidently you have to be burnt by some body some time.
CAUTION!!!!! with this seller !!!!! |

Although I didn't realize he only shipped once a week, once it shipped, I received my top hinge covers quickly and they looked as expected. Gary was good at communication, and I would buy from him again. _________________ -Harry

I asked the seller for some photos of the item, an early bay bus locking deck lid latch, to make certain it was the proper key code. He did send photos of the code, but did not send them of the lock itself. I figured what could go wrong. After weeks of slow-ass shipping, here is the lock received. Not only is the slot mangled, as someone had tried to break in to the engine compartment, but the set screw is flush flat stripped to nothing and cannot be removed. What kind of person sends this part to another VW enthusiast? I asked for a refund and was not offered a reply. What a disrespectful punk. Rather than continue writing him and start the swearing, I wrote this instead. Avoid doing business with this bottom feeder.
