Awesome score. That place you got it from looks like heaven, you're lucky to have access to a place like that. _________________ 1985 Westy

I'm keeping it. Its in storage right now until I get some more time. ($$) Unless you want to buy the '69.
I've got some other pics of the cleaning. I'll get them uploaded and posted if you are that interested. _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN

Just thought you might like to know I now own this bus, as I bought it a couple of weeks ago!
It ended up in the UK with Midland Early Bay, then was sold to a guy called Jamie Gargett in Hayling Island on the south coast.
After a couple of years, he decided to sell it and I bought it after flying down and then driving it eight hours back to the north of England near Manchester.
Now just trying decide between restoring it or a patina slammer ......ahh, decisions, decisions!
I'll keep you posted! Andy |

Hi andy! Good to hear from you. I talked to Jaime when he had it and he sent me some updated photos. I regret letting this one go, but glad it found a good home! _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN

Nice, good to see it made it back on the road!

It looks good. Must be a great feeling to know you saved one from the crusher and passed it on to somebody else to enjoy!

Well, it looks exactly the same now, and is currently tucked away at the back of my garage until I get chance to make a start.
When I pop down next, I'll get some pics and keep you all updated on the progress! |
