I'm guessing a Porsche 1500 Spyder variant, built for a record attempt at Reims. Perhaps only 1100cc? |
Can we have a confirmation, Scopey? |
Not a Porsche |

I think that Scope has no idea what it is and he is just waiting for Old Grimey to wander in and tell him. |

I posted this one so long ago I forgot what it was and where I put the info on it. Had to go back and do some digging.
Its actually a Renault 4CV Vernet Pairard record car. It did something like 174 kilometers per hour with less then 1,000cc's. _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

The stock version of that has something of a Heb flavor.

You really have to wonder why the rear of the car was so big. The engine was only about 14 inches long! _________________ Mother Nature is a Mean Evil Bitch! |

The rear looks a little 300SL to me.

It has an aircooled engine in the rear. The paint looks to be an exact match of the Birch Green (L511) on my Notchback.
The passenger side floor pan had a removable hatch to allow for ice fishing.

A floor hatch for ice fishing? I didn't know there were any cars built in Minnesota or Wisconsin. _________________ nothing |

I had actually read something about that car years ago, maybe in the micro and min car club newsletter. I could not recall the exact name, but I knew it was Slavic, and started with a Z. I started the search there. _________________ nothing |
