Mitsubishi Colt fastback from late 60s.
The early ones were 800cc and later went up to 1100 cc I think?
Quite successful rally cars in their class back in the days. |

A quick search of Dodge Colts through the 60's doesn't show any that have that same rear glass and tail shape. Do you have any photos that might match? I am not great at online searching.
Nice first post BTW.

great result and I'm not going daft! I've not had much time to investigate but a lurking half memory in my brain was saying japanese - I had got as far as mazda...!
like the fins and the interesting way the rear windows open!

correct - the michelotti styled triumph stag had the looks but a poor reputation due to v8 cooling problems and indifferent build quality.
and yes that is a rev counter on my dash - a ludicrous item on such a car. (not a vw)
