I just thought of the twisted sense of humor fate has as I reached the turn off to my storage unit to go work on my power windows...

Vanagon Power windows are a very robust system which are completely rebuildable and like any other system on a car require some maintenance.
Once Properly rebuilt will outlast your Van, there is lots written about them in the FAQ's. New units are available but quality is spotty.

Everything is rebuildable!
There's been enough good vs. bad posts about doing the windows system that it's another good beer discussion after all is done around a campfire.
I was just laughing at my own little world of seeing this at this time.
