New acquisition today from Seekonk, MA. It is NOT for sale, nor are any of the parts seen on or in it. '67 hardtop deluxe that drove a good hour or so from point of sale. All it needed to run was a fresh battery.

Safely tucked away in the shop.

You haven't been underneath it yet Wink. It's not too bad though, and a decent driver, but they all need lots of TLC...

Nice Shop, Stan!
I'll have to check it out some day if I can get off the Cape.
Strangely enough, I was born in Natick. Shocked
Best Regards,
Jon from The Cape

Nice find, great price. You have to love craigslist. I missed that ad, I guess I spend to much time browsing RI ads. I'm going to have to broaden my searches.

Thanks Randy. Call first, I could be out on a housecall.

I just got bay-friendly last week and solved a long-nagging high RPM miss on a '79 Westy with a BB motor that had been de-Californized, but not quite enough. Hopefully it's running sweet now, as it did for me once I got it all sorted.

That's my panel in the pics of Stan's Shop.
I finally got to meet Stan yesterday. He's a great guy and runs a nice neat little shop. He's done excellent work getting my 67 panel running since it was tucked into a barn 16 years ago.
If you need work done in MA, get yourself (and your VW) over to Stan.

Had a very busy October in the shop. Early in the month I had a couple vehicles to get ready in time for the big Transporterfest show in Brookline, MA.

'65 Bug got rebuilt king pin assemblies.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Also sorted out some bent wheels and one out-of-round tire on '65 Bug.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

'78 Convertible got a cleaned out fuel tank, which finally solved fuel supply issues.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

'58 Ghia got a different distributor and is running much better now.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

'82 Westy got new front control arm upper bushings and some fall maintenance before getting stored away for winter.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

'70 Westy wiper shaft replacement and some fall maintenance before getting stored away for winter.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Hopefully the long term project '67 panel will be moving along in November.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

And finally, after driving around so many different convertibles, I went out and got one of my own. Nothing too fancy, but a good driver that is fairly solid.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Towbar setup worked great, but I had to stop and free up the stuck rear brakes.

My daughter already wants this one.

'62 vert, but front fenders were likely updated at some point with later ones. Hood is not original, nor is engine lid.
