Hey Stan, an acquaintance of mine from the Jeep world and a former coworker of yours at Bentley, Pete Nason, mentioned your shop to me the other day. It looks like a great business you've got going there. I work in Framingham at Staples Corporate so I'll definitely keep you in mind once I actually get my Single Cab on the road. Cool

Sounds good. I'm there all the time and currently working on a couple bus resurections.

'67 Ski Shop panel has made it's way to a new home in NY. Healthy 1200cc motor was running very nice, with fresh gas tank.

Brakes and all electrical sorted, plus fresh Hancook LT rubber and many other mechanical components renewed or refurbished.

Squeezed three vehicles into the shop to get them out of the rain, but too tight to work on them much.

Finished sorting out several issues on my '64 convert and got an inspection sticker for it today. Photo is in Natick, MA.

Picked up my '67 Panel from Stan on Monday. for those of you not in the Northeast it was 45 degrees and raining.
The panel performed great on the ride to NY from Boston (175 miles)
my hands were a little cold, but I'll work on that later.
Stan did a great job on the bus and I had no doubt it would make the trip on the highway.
It was the first time I've driven a split window any distance, and it was a joy to drive. I drive a Vanagon every day, certainly a little different, but steer the same.
The 10" wiper was a little small, but everything worked great and the bus will have a great new home here in Brooklyn once I get the body work done and get it repainted for out business. Pics to come as I get more done on the bus.
Thanks Stan!

January has stayed busy in the shop, which is definitely good for this time of year. Fortunately some of my customers are driving their precious German metal through the winter.

This nice '78 convertible got a fresh clutch, trans. mounts, engine seals, sound deadening, and some other misc. electrical work.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

German 3-piece sound deadening looks great in the engine compartment of the '78.

'62 Bug came in for a tune-up but had some other issues of more importance. Car was from Cali, so it's a good starting point.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Battery was being held in with a bungee cord, so we convinced the customer that a new passenger side floor pan was priority one. Good quality Danish floor pan from BugCity in CT. is on right.

Anybody recognize this car from out west?

Sorted out some water leakage issues and other services on a very nice 1970 Sedan recently.

It got to spend about a week on the resto side of the shop.

Also got the full undercoating treatment for protection on wet roads. All surface rust was first treated before undercoating.

Waiting for customer pickup. It drove like a brand new bug.

I love working on nice clean cars like this one.

Stan it is so awesome that you have your own shop. After hanging out a couple years with you in the barrens i know for a fact that you can handle anything that these crusty northeast dubs will throw @ you. Thats some good looking work you got going on up there. P.S. how far is the charge for a service call all the way down in philly? Very Happy
