Need some help from the auto tranny folks. I had my accelerator cable break and when removing the old cable I discovered the guide tube was broken, possibly the cause of the cable to break. There is a round metal end with a groove that connects to a bracket with a c-clip above the transmission housing, this metal end is what broke off. The tube is metal spiral wound thing covered in vinyl, I found something similar like this:

I was wondering if anybody has used this or adapted it with the metal end from the old tube? As far as I can tell the part is NLA since nobody has it listed and I've tried all the used vendors and nobody has one.

Thanks for any help.

from what he is describing that's just a std cable shield can buy anywhere.

I have also used a plastic conduit like the tubing found under the bus in one area where the shielding wasn't suitable.
