thanks Psyco - i'm making some changes from the orginal design - should turn out pretty cool - i'm after comfort for some long distant rides pulling my camper trailer - i think i have the suspension in place for that - the seat is a major factor on any motorcycle - i'll put a bunch of effort in getting the seat right - the large blue body that is shown in the pictures will be gone but the chrome rack will still be there - the underside of the rack will get a sheet of diamond plate - on top there is be a 8x33 inch alumium fuel cell plus a large trunk off a Goldwing or Harley? i'm going to have both tanks hooked up - i have everything to complete the bike except the trunk - i'm also going to rebuild the top end of the engine mainly for my own piece of mind - i'll hit some swap meets & find a trunk or buy one off of flea-bay - fun project - slipjoint |

Are you going to put a rear seat on it,
or leave it solo? _________________ SOME MORNINGS IT'S JUST NOT

Sharpe trike... I'm building a old kit trike from the late 60's and it truly is barn fresh, do you have any suggestions on wiring? it was striped down many years ago and i'm starting from the ground up. I can use any help or advice you can give me. Thanks. Steve |

ionly thing i can suggest is go to a motorcycle supply house like J&P & buy a wiring harness for a bike - be ready to spend some dollars - think mine was 250 bucks - that will take some of the pain out of it but i find wiring a total pain in the arse - but then again i have never enjoyed doing it - so i would say buy a harness & find a good helper or two - tom |

thats kinda how i ended up with this one - it was really scrap but there was a also a bunch of good pieces along with the junk - just a good barn find - i installed new starter, coil, plugs, points, condenser, horn, all bulbs, fuel filter, change oil & ATF - built seat pan , new custom seat, Windshield, trunk, Aux fuel tank, change brake fulid, new fuel pump - new carb, new throttle cable - dem i should be good to go one of these days:) i'm not happy with the steering - next winter i'll cut the head off & replace the springer with a new custom one & get the"Trail" under control so it feels like power steering - right now it's like driving a PU with-out power steering - tom
