Ok, I will convert
I've actually come across several "types" of inches, are the inches in your post like this: 1 inch = 25,4 mm ? _________________ '65 11W Microbus

EDragnDean, I noticed you didn't cover the bottom or back of your seat like the originals are. You only covered the cushion. How come? How does the cushion attach to the wood? _________________ 1960 Bus Panel/Camper |

Correct. Or we could send you an American Standard tape measure... |
America goes metric, inch by inch...? Thanks, but I think I'll stick with the millimeters
By the way, it's Norway's national day today, everyone's waving the flag, and wearing the national costume. Except me, I'm lying under an old bus...
Have a nice day!
Cheers from Norway

Are Bay seats really shorter...? Or did you mean that split seats are shorter? _________________ '65 11W Microbus

wow! british army used metric system in 1776. they were still using it in 1812. mexico used metric during spanish american war. germany used metric in 1914-1918. japan and germany used metric in 1939 to 1945. hmm i like .50 cal instead of 12.2 caliber metric. _________________ Admin note: Bill Passed away - July, 2017

When you say "width," you're talking about the dimension from one side of the bus to the other (50-something inches) correct?
Where would I measure to see how wide I can go?
Thanks. |

Hi EDragnDean, can middle seats be installed once the RnR bed is fitted? Is the bed too long to include a middle seat or is shortening the width of the seat base a possibility to accommodate this? Room for small bums only though! Thanks, and great post. |

Getting there but some of the measurements on the original post screwed me up.
I think because I have the SO42 hinges and supports the bolt holes for the sides didn't work for me and the front at 17 inches was too high. The sliding supports need to be mounted in the corners so I notched about 4" down out of the front. I measured an OG 3/4 z bed and the base was only 12" tall in front and 11 1/2" tall on the sides.
BTW I'm using marine grade 3/4" plywood.
