|
|
Found a few buses for sale and I know one is an older model due to the smaller back window, but not sure how old. I couldn't find a thread that described the differences in the years based on rear hatch (other than barndoor) or turn signals and such. Any help identifying these 3 buses would be appreciated. The newer ones look like they are in better shape other than a little body damage on the bright blue one.
bus 1
bus 2
bus 3

Bus #1 64-67
Bus #2 59-61
Bus #3 64-67
For more info on any of the busses, take a picture of the M-code plate behind the passenger seat for bus #2 and on the fresh air vent on the passenger side for busses #1 and #3.
edit: forgot nus #2 could be a 61 too. And just noticed #2 has harps!! _________________ Grapes of Wrath $200 Engine Rebuild

That's the one I'm looking at. From these pics it looks very straight and the rockers look pretty dry. I haven't been in the yard yet. I saw them from the street and called the owner. These are the pics she sent me. I know of a guy who has a bunch of late 50's double door logo'd buses, but he won't part with them. So this is my next option.
Thanks for the info. I'm checking with the owner about $ now. _________________ member of: Fort Worth Aircoolers Gang |

where did you get that?? In 62 they had large turnsignals and brake lights. Position of the small round tail lights suggest 59 to 61.
Bus one and three could be anywhere from 64-67, what do you see to narrow it down? |
Your right on bus 2 my bad I thought it had fried egg turn signals.
Buss one has a push button rear hatch and church key deck lid 64 or 65
Bus three has a push button rear hatch and non church key deck lid. make it a 66 most likely. |

'67s have a flat top wheel well and '67 has a no-church-key gas door. Bus #3 has squirters. |

Buy all 3 if you can swing it and resell the 2 you dont want to fund the build on the keeper. _________________ Terry
