My '66 Deluxe Walkthru. Not much Titan Red left under there either. Good luck on your project!

you can use type 3 brakes and nates offset plates. i'm not sure about your bearing caps though. i got type 3 axles with backing plates and bearing caps so it all went together nicely.

Got a new baby girl so time is scarce.. i have one month before OCTO so i gotta hurry.. installed the motor now i have to install the starter and wiring and exhaust and hope it runs ... the brakes are already done so i think it i'll make it in time ! Titan red is an easy color to blend so the outside is gonna be last on the list.. keeps up the progress pics guys !

Try Oxalic acid on the dash. I remember it from the old Beer can collecting days. It removes rust without harming the paint.

You can get it at any Pharmacy. It comes as a powder that you mix with water, and saturate a rag with it and lay it on the dash for a few hours.

Trust me.......

I hope I never have to replace a floor on a bus again!! The WW floor fit nice but the process was tough, this took a lot of work. At least for me it did. Before it gets pointed out, this was half way through. I wasnt finished welding yet, by the time I finished I wasn't in the mood to take pics Laughing .

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon.

I paid 3k for it, I'm sure I over-paid, but its my first bus and I got excited. I'm enjoying it and working on it so, no worries Smile
