...until you get a new one?
My floor pan under my battery finally died. I jammed a hunk of wood and a tray under it for the time being, until I get my new ones (it's not like it's going anywhere, the bug is dead right now)
So what have other folks used?

yes,..use that because it loves moisture and will make more metal rust. if it's Mario from NC, don't listen to him and DO NOT use the foam.

I dig the licence plates. I can't even imagine foam working at all unless it was glassed in.

This may sound bad, but it works well take duck tape and tape it under the hole, use a lot were there is no holes left, then take fiberglass resin pour it in the floorboard use alot so it gets in the rust and on top of the good steel then lay your fiberglass. Let it dry then pull your tape off under chassis it should pull right off then paint the top and bottom. It looks and feels good. Fixed a beater this way before. Idea But if you can get a welder its better to fix it right.

if you take your time tapeing up the rust hole ( I put a card board under the tape so it would not sag) after I took the tape out and painted it it was hard to tell it was rusted out and last for 6 yrs till I got rid of the car. But honestly once you do fix a floor pan the right way, you will wish you had fixed all of them the right way, But when I used fiberglass I had no were to do floor pans at and the car was my only way to work I was not about to do major work that might down the car in my front yard. At the time I was proud of the way it turned out. It was hard tell it was fiberglass, The tape will pull right off of when it dries leaving a smooth surface. hard as a rock. Its not the right way to fix it But as my father said a rich man makes plans a poor man makes arrangements.
