I translate that to mean "This is very ill." Is that correct? _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN

Hi Kirk,
Iv got the same bus and beam. What is your tire configuration, and how does it handle at higher speeds?
Iv got 14" rims, and just wondered what tyres i should choose.
Thanks,
David |

just a quick question did yall weld your tierods back together? becuz that would be incedibly unsafe.much better and easier to cut it off one end and then tap the pipe for the tierod end |

I'm running 195/50's in the front and 195/65's in the rear. Very stable at highway speeds. I'd pick something close in 14" size, but I'm not sure. I know some people run 165/45/14's but those are too small for my tastes. I did cut and reweld my tie rods. No problems in a year and 1500 miles so far. _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN

if it wasn't for all the cutting and welding I'd put in a rear safari window, that'd be sick for hot summer days! I wish my buses looked as good as yours, I'm almost scared to try and get the pink off...
Where do you procure one of those bus tow bars? I find I'm towing mine a lot, would be mighty helpful... _________________ Check out our Our youtube channel: Https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-EbskIxNm6SYzsq4ugG81A

Naah. Cut the rear window out, weld the brackets in, bolt the window in. Easy peasy. You cant drive with it open though. It will OJ Simpson you quickly. I'd try a small area to remove the paint first and see how it responds. Works well, move on.
As for the tow bar, it came from a member on here, jeremyrockjock. As I remember he still has the collapsable ones on here for sale. Best money I ever spent. In the early days, Doodle made me get my moneys worth out of it quickly. _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN
