Good stuff.
After battling with reverse polarity and such I located this seller. I swapped out all my bulbs with his and they work great. The idiot lights are bright and will definitely catch your eye. No need to worry about replacing gels or anything...you could have purple in there and the LEDs would blast through. I had an alternator lamp go out for some reason and he happened to be at OCTO. He came over and checked it out. He said, "Yep, that one went bad for some reason...heres a new one". He even installed it there at the show. The "exciter" attached to the alternator lamp also keeps the bulb from doing the phantom glow the incandescent bulbs do sometimes. Don't have to blip the motor to get the light to turn off either at startup.
I also changed out the backlights. What I got where the "cool" colored white bulbs. They throw kind of a ghostly pale blue white light across the face. It also is pretty dim really. After explaining my wish for a more stock-less-tech look in there he came up with a "warm" white bulb. Not only do they have a nice "incandescent" yellow cast to them...but they are also much brighter than before. The "40" mark is clearly legible now.
I would absolutely buy again... |

These LEDs are awesome and made such a HUGE difference on my '68 bug. As soon as the late model Ghia ones are available I will buy those to. You don't realize how dim your OE lights are until you see these in action! _________________ '68 Bug

Looks like his ad is down now. Website still up but he doesn't seem to be responding to emails from there either. He was working on some late model Ghia lights and was hoping to order those since the others worked so good. _________________ '68 Bug

Installed the speedo lights and all of them work except the turn Signal flasher green one.All the turn signals are working Has anyone else had this problem?I was told it might need a resistor between it and the flasher to make it work.
Also, would the test light illuminate at the flasher terminal where it goes to the light in the speedo that is not working if there were no wire hooked to it? |

Lights are great. Seller is upstanding guy. Returned my call promptly and fixed up a little mixup. Stands by his product and ships quick. Makes a huge difference in my 64 6v. Dash lights are much brighter. |

Wait until you see these in action what a "HUGE" difference compared to the dim Bay OE speedo pod lights. Night time driving the speedo has a nice bright blue/green color due to the internal OE color domes fitted. |

What a difference! I was tired of squinting at my 68 bug's speedometer; at night it felt like I was driving a submarine... LOL.
I went with two of his bright white LEDs for the illumination and it really brightened up the speedo's face plate and easy on the eyes. I like the look.
Also replaced my melted dome light housing with a quality one from WCM, and using one of Sven's 41mm LED festoon bulbs. WOW, really lights up the interior and burns cool, - no more melted light housings!
Quality product and fast shipping.
Thanks Sven. |

Ordered these in Jan for a 68 project I just completed. Wanted the gauges to match in color so I went with the Red dash lights. Love the way they turned out! I'm satisfied with the way they look. Shipping was quick and was well packaged.
Thanks, Sven!
Here's a pic I took last night:
