|
|
It's a long story...
but I found these two splits rusting away in a field in Michigan about 3 weeks back. I have a bay window, so don't know too much about split window buses. I thought that double cab was cool as there is a 2nd door on the passenger side but not the driver's side. Is that rare?
Anyway, these things are probably too far gone, but if anyone in Michigan is interested enough to want to know where they are, I can try to give directions (PM me). They are near Irons, Michigan.
Here's a pic.

Me too..I would like to see a split bus/dc drive-out rescue kombisutra style. Get one running, get one rolling and have it pull the other one out. Would be an awesome thread. Looks like plenty of space to camp for a rescue team. _________________ 63 Sedan

Yeah - I'm in California or I wouldn't be sharing these, I'd be tracking down the owner... _________________ '56 Bug - no name yet

Me? I'm 3000 miles away. I gave directions to someone who's trying to get there soon. Maybe he'll let us know what he is able to find out. _________________ '56 Bug - no name yet
