|
|
Hallo all,
I just uploaded the 1000th karmann-ghia model into the karmann-ghia collectibles database.
I started collecting KG models since the 2005 celebration in Georgmarienhutte and also started the karmann ghia collectibles database during that time. Today the model part of the database reached his 1000th entry. Besides teh 1000th models there are over 400 other karmann-ghia collectibles listed/
My privite collection of karmann ghia is a little over 550 differen models, so I'am more than halfway.
Regards
Patrick

Great work, Patrick!
We use your site many times to determine
manufacturer, price/value and etc., mostly while
spotting one for sale online that we'd like to add
to our collection.
We only have several dozen collected, but looking
for more all the time. Your site is a great reference. _________________ ****************************

Congratulations, Patrick. Many hours of labor you've spent to make it a great site.
As an avid KG toy collector I enjoy the site and thank you. _________________

Hi Patrick, a long time ago I was at a VW show and I spotted a 1/18 scale ghia, in the box, with a flame paint job on it. I haven't seen one since then and I was a fool not to buy it. For some reason, your site, or my computer are being sluggish. Would you happen to have any information on it? Thanks _________________ oo9less since 2007

I have never seen a original 1/18 ghia with a flame paint job. It can be a custom paint used on a solido or Road legends (Yat ming) model.
