On Friday evening we let Boise know the VW scene is alive and well. We met at Sonic for a quick bite and to kick off the weekend's events.
Afterwards we cruised downtown and lined them up 3 wide and a block deep, flash mob style. Here's the video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWGGXchnayc _________________ Um... you lost me at "Bay". |

Holy Smokes! From the show alone- let's review some numbers:
100+ cars; 400+ people; 50+ great "drawing" related products;
Visitors from: San Jose, Manitoba!, Texas, SLC, TriCities WA, Seattle (I believe), Oregon and of course, all over SW Idaho.
I can't list all the various other niceties, but to start: Izz, BigBoy and Dave!, Smoothies and Tacos, Great coverage, perfect (though hot) weather, sponsors from Heaven and much more. Great show. I'll add stuff about the rest of the weekend later. bd _________________

Video of the actual show on Sunday taken by the winner of the type 3 class from Washington. This was taken early in the show before the Sunroof Standard Barndoor and several other very cool cars showed up.

It was so worth the 900 miles (round trip). So many, beautiful, VW's and to meet so many Buspilots was a 100% good time.I enjoyed ripping around in the go kart bus too! _________________ '62 Bus named Biscuit

Had a great time at the show, thanks to all who helped make this one of the best family reunions. I'm glad I finished my split for everyone to enjoy - thanks again for the promoters choice award

Hello all- just a teaser about the BPA Family Reunion 2010. It's the 16th Annual this year and by all early indicators- should make last year seem like practice! Be thinking about your summer trip to Idaho- on the second weekend of July- and we'll update the "shows" thread with fresh material as it unfolds. Thank You! Bradford _________________

Might want to rethink this one. The show is the Third weekend in July.

You'll have to forgive FU#4- he's fairly new to candor and has just eeked out a "D" in basic Christian behavior.
Oddly, he is correct- Hope to see any and all on the third weekend in July. _________________
