How do think 195/45r17 tires would work? They are .25" more narrow and .4 " taller than 205/40r17's. I could use the extra height to avoid bottoming out and the taller sidewall should ride better. I am worried the extra height may cause rubbing issues but being more narrow could help to offset any rubbing.

Okay they olok sick as.

Is anyone in australia selling them?

And would they fit a 71 beetle with discs up front and drums up back. No widened fenders and no narrowed beam?

At this time, my company is the only one distributing these wheels. I have sent or am in the process of sending 3 sets of wheels to Australia as we speak.

I know for sure that the 17X7 comes in at 20.5lbs so the 8 will not be much more.

I believe the smallest I can do is 5X114, I can check. The ET is adjustable from 12mm to 80mm on these wheels.

So I found out that a 5X112 pattern is available.
