Anyone use these on a Bay WIndow Bus? I saw pictures of the one project sitting in primer, but that thing is slammed to the ground. I'd like semi-normal size tires on my slightly-lowered bus, but I don't know what offset, if any, will work.
The closest I found to the original stock tire size for the 5.5" wheels would be 205/50R17.
Is this correct? Would that rub under the rear fender? What about the 7" wheels for a close-to-stock size if for nothing else than for gearing and engine wear purposes. |

Iozzio 17x7's, 5 1/4"bs, disk brakes, 4" narrowed beam and I believe short axles but I'm not sure. I just threw them on for a demo when I was up in Canada. The guys on the Canadian "airspeed" forums would probably know for sure. _________________ Paul Iozzio

Any pixs of the 18" version with black painted centers and polished lips like the original fuchs installed on the late 70s thru 89 911 carerras. Wife just purchased and 89 wide body 911 carerra. It has late Porsche Boxster 18" Sport Design wheels that we both agree foul the classic look.
Thanks |
No I dont but feel free to photochop some onto your wifes Porsche if you want. Post them up if you do it. Thanks

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What size / brand are the tires? this is a very clean combo! |

The tires are the round rubbery things, Pete. |
oh snap.... I was tired. No excuse, I know.
175-45-17"s up front and he handled the rear tires. |
What brand are the 175/45s? I have 165/45 Nankangs and they are crap.. are the 175s any better? _________________ 56 SunRoof (o\U!U/o) "Hood Fellas"
