I'm a type 3 guy, but a friend of mine gave me a back seat (along with some other parts) from a Ghia (he was cleaning out his garage), and I'm tring to find out what it fits. Can someone give me a measurement of a hard top, and a convertible? I don't know if its an early seat (up to 69) or a late (70 on), or if from a vert or a hard top (are they the same?). Any help is appreciated. Thanks. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Icy, thanks for the pics. Is this one
for a coupe, or a vert though? Looking at the other pic, the material matches the coupe, is why I'm asking. Is a vert narrower? _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Yes, Bob. The convertible rear seats are narrower than the coupe. Also, the dimensions of the rear seats did not change throughout production.
The one in the picture that you posted is from a coupe. I hope this helps. _________________ West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) |
