Sunvisors ?
Moldings ?

None of those parts are Volkswagen as far as I know. This includes the rear view mirror too.

Probably just vintage accessories added by a previous owner.

I'd be interested in seeing a photo of that tag on the rear apron.

This is special to Belgium. All the barndoor have here a tag with mentions of the car from the importer dieteren. The mines,Beltek(on the side doglegds) and this one have it.I think all of Belgium busses with grooved bumper has it!
Now i want to say with that bus that my 2 barndoors and this one don't have Frese reflectors but Stimsonite ones...I think that beltek had it also before...so THese 3 busses are original so i'm not sure that Frese was the only manufacter for every country in the world.
Thanks for your detailled pictures dude.See you at chimay!!!!

Everett, Boss is right!! that tag you ask for, is a belgian thing... if you look close on bdmike's picture in the gallery, you can read "D'Ieteren Frères S.A." (S.A. means Societé Anonime) so tag = from the Importer, like Boss said, he's all correct!! BOSS, even my first splitscreen bus (that I bought in 1989), a belgian '59, had a similar tag, the same size I think, but it was located on the other side, and with MORE information on it!!

BDMIKE, BOSS was asking about the reflectors... yours are Stimsonite too!!! that answers a lot of questions for us belgians, and it's a proof that not only the Frese was used on Barndoors...

so BOSS, I'm very happy too to see these reflectors on another ORIGINAL belgian barndoor!! and so now, we're sure that J. was right when he told us about them years ago: 99% sure became 100% today Very Happy GOOD !!!

Very nice. Looks like original fabric, possibly with some restitching over the years where seams blew out. But just think about how that fabric has held up through the past 55 years or so...
