Before going to the eBay link, try to guess what the asking bid for this is. _________________ SL |

All I can say is after getting the Thing I’m restoring done I’ll never do another one. I’ve restored multiple bugs and buses and I’ve never had the headaches with the price of parts as you do with a thing. I know all parts are going up but it seems every part for a thing is made of gold.
It’s insane how much all the rubber items cost. As well as metal replacement panels and fenders. _________________ Peace,

Somehow I doubt that this was “just pulled out of storage this spring”

The number 38 sure does seem to be popular with Things:

Everett is right, I do have several Nos wiper motors and have sold some over the years to people that prefer NOS over rebuilt. You may not be aware that these Thing wiper motors are NLA. As far as my pricing, I believe that it is very reasonable when you consider that the 2 main vendors for Thing parts sell their rebuilt motors (with no core) for about $450. I hope I've answered your curiosity regarding my ad. |
