does this mean that my rattly engine, I got replaced in my Thingster,with a 73 shroud and Thing muflers is worth more than $500 not a boat anchor? pics to follow

| Yeah... Last time I saw a '73 shroud in that condition, it went for less than $150. $300 is ridiculous, that thing is rusty, slightly corroded mild steel not gold! |

There is someone in Germany who sells those for 79 (or 99?) euro /piece. So the asking price of those offered for sale in France is a bit to high.

Well, he once owned a German military staff car bug with flag holders... so he knows what he is talking about.
Even if it was the last German NOS, the price is way too high. For restoration purposes, you better buy cheaper mexican NOS or repro.
