WOW, what a shame! AC/DC was technically one of the first concerts I went to. My dad was working follow spot in the rafters of The Summit in Houston Texas in 1978 & I got to see them as the opening act from a couple hundred feet up. My dad slowly started tightening up the spot on Bon Scott's face during "Ride on" & AC/DC's manager excitedly called up & said "That's bloody great, keep it up".

It's funny that the venue that once echoed "Highway to Hell" is now a church.

Ann Wedgeworth, known for her role as Lana Shields in ABC’s “Three’s Company,” died Thursday in New York after a long illness. She was 83.

The actress enjoyed a successful career in film, with roles as the leading lady in films like “Scarecrow,” opposite Gene Hackman, and “Bang the Drum Slowly” with Robert De Niro. Throughout the 1980s, she took on supporting roles, such as Patsy Cline’s mother in “Sweet Dreams,” with Jessica Lange and Ed Harris.

OMG, Mrs. Cusser will be heartbroken !! She had teenage crushes on Cassidy, Bobby Sherman, and Davy Jones from their TV shows. She said she cried for a week back then when she found out she was taller than Davy Jones.

Wayne Cochran, the soul singer known for his outlandish outfits and platinum pompadour who came to be called The White Knight of Soul and who chucked it all to become a Miami minister, died Tuesday at his Miramar home of cancer, his son Christopher Cochran said.

His towering pompadour was arguably more famous than his songs — and the songs he recorded with his band, the C.C. Riders, were plenty famous.

Cochran was 78.
