Mickey Jones, a character actor who appeared in shows including “Justified” and “Home Improvement,” died Wednesday from the “effects of a long illness,” his publicist confirmed to Variety. He was 76.
He appeared in dozens of television shows and movies, notably alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone in 1990’s “Total Recall.” In addition to a recurring role as Rodney “Hot Rod” Dunham on FX’s “Justified,” Jones was also known for his work on “Home Improvement,” where he played Pete Bilker, a friend of Tim Allen’s character, from 1991 to 1999.

That sucks, I loved him on home improvement.

Pat Torpey, who drummed with Mr. Big from 1988-2002, and from 2009-14, passed away yesterday. He was 64.

Emmy Award-winning actor, Reg E. Cathey, 59, who was best known for portraying BBQ restaurant owner Freddy Hayes on "House of Cards" has died after a battle with cancer, according to reports.
TMZ is reporting that he died of lung cancer.
The 59-year-old also starred in HBO's "The Wire" and "Oz."
Cathey won an Emmy for outstanding guest actor in a drama series in 2015 for his work on "House of Cards."
Cathey most recently appeared in the 2015 "Fantastic Four" reboot, "St. Vincent," "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" and the 2018 drama "Tyrel."

| Ex-Dodger Wally Moon of "moon shot" fame of hitting opposite field home runs at the LA Coliseum before Dodger Stadium was built, died in Bryan Texas at 87. He helped the Dodgers get to 3 World Series during his stint in LA. |
