Dang, I forgot all about him, until now, RIP Howie.
And RIP Alex Trebec as well, I'm not sure that show could be anything close to the same with a replacement host, nerdy, yet slightly hip at the same time, it's a rare combination.

I can't help but think of these SNL runs and the timelyness of them with Connery, Trebek, and Reynolds as well. I thought they were awesome, and it seemed like the actors got a kick out of them as well:

Ken Spears, the co-creator of the cartoon series Scooby-Doo, has died at the age of 82.
Spears, who created the animated characters alongside his creative partner Joe Ruby, died of complications from Lewy body dementia.

Peter Sutcliffe, the serial killer known as the Yorkshire Ripper, has died in hospital.
Sutcliffe, 74, who was serving a whole life sentence for the murder of at least 13 women in the late 1970s, had tested positive for coronavirus and was suffering from underlying health conditions.
