Incredible! She just gave a lengthy interview that was taped last week and she looked great. She was very sharp and quick.
In spite of her age, her death apparently was unexpected. _________________ Marc

Over the past decade or so, he was doing the stand up comedy circuit. I went to see him a few years back mostly because being of the 'Screech generation', I thought it would be a nostalgic trip. It's surprising to admit (even for me), that he was actually one of the funniest and best comics I've ever seen. |

And so many other memorable roles. I will never forget him in Evening Shade, and NCIS. A great, talented actor. _________________ nothing |

I guess this man got to know his limitations.
I liked him in "Magnum Force," too. |

Even sadder that he - like Andy Kaufman - had such lung cancer and never smoked. I didn't like Kaufman much, and never saw a show with this Screech guy, but still sad.
My own mom died of lung cancer but hadn't smoked in like 55 years; however, my dad was a super-heavy Camels smoker/WW2, so second-hand smoke could've been a factor (he died of emphysema). _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each.
