This one's a quickie.
On the elephant foot tail lights, the running lights and brake lights are side by side. Which of them is outboard?
The reason I can't answer this myself is that I have aftermarket tail lights with only three bulbs, and the brake and tail lights share a single dual filament bulb. |

Running light goes to the outside. This way it's visible from the side at night. _________________ --- The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at and repair.

The running lights are outboard and the brake lights are inboard. At least that is how it is on my Thing and the owners manual seems to confirm this on page 42. |

triple agree on above.
I just installed after market tail lights. I pulled originals apart and studied them and manual. |
