If you go to california's DMV website you should be able to look up the plate number for a small free. Reverse plate look up or whatever it's called. I am interested now and would like to join this hunt. _________________ 64 Type II

"Hollywood" Ralph?
In the back of Keith Seume's Coachbuilts & Cabriolets there's a picture with a caption describing this gentleman as a hoarder with a Dannenhauer & Stauss. He looks like the driver. I dunno. I'm from the east coast. _________________ FlatFourVW.com••VAGFair.com••DeutscheClassic.com |

Here it is in Hot VWs' coverage of Bug-In 13 in the January 1975 issue.
The caption reads "Yes, it is one of those whatchamacallits." No owner's name. Looks like the guy in overalls might have been the owner after all.
Nice old school pics in this and other threads, Ivan. Thanks for sharing them.

Hello Scott,
Are you my "one-time neighbor" on Tracy Street?
t3kg + Scott = Scott Taylor by definition , correct?

I know that I have seen this ATJ 388 Hebmuller before and it should be listed in my documentation of the Hebmuller Registry that is now in the possesion of Yan Rami.
I am in the process of asking Yan for the Hebmuller Registry information to be returned so I can scan all the documentation and have it available on a web site. _________________ Hacksaw BoB

Hi Chris, nice scans of the Volkswagen Greats magazine of my Hebmuller. Thanks, but I have scaned the article already.
I bought that Hebmuller 14-00258 in 1969 and drove it, had a lot of fun with it and met a lot of friends along the way for 30 years. I sold it to a collector in Japan 10 years ago and it is getting a full restoration. I managed to keep the license plate from the Hebmuller and a lot of memories.
