Personaly, i did not think the mag did the car justice. They could a filled every page with pics and details of this car and not captured the detail and time you put into it.. Congrats on the cover man, hope you and your fam have a good holiday

I would hate to see it go Tim but good luck on the sale. Someone wouldn't be able to build that car for less.

I do not totally agree with the style . But I wish more cars were built with the same dedication.
Thumbs up, and good luck with the sale.

What was used on the pan is it painted or was it powder coated?

Absolutely amazing work congrats I hope the new owner can enjoy all of your hard work. Hope to see more of your builds in the future.

He did all the detailed body work on the pan as the rest of the car then sprayed it SS Gloss Black.

I think you will be seeing more if his builds in the future too Cool

Just read the whole thread. Awesome car! How scary is it to put the alternator strap on without scratching the paint?

The detail on that car is second to none. I like the shots of the pan being done. Everything smoothed out. Love that car

I just want to say a few things

1) i just got my bug (not a sick ass oval window) and i am very inspired by this thread. Shit, i feel like leaving work just to go work on my bug!

2) i live in the sgv area, and i will be able to spot this car in a second, so if i see it, i will be sure to give you a call and follow the dude. no reward needed.

i read through the whole thing just to find out it was stolen

car thieves are right up there with child molesters in my book. its fuckin dirty shit to steal someones car.

hopefully she is not stripped. ill keep an eye out on craigslist too

best of luck
