I just bought an old show car that was at the Bug-In #9 in 1972...dash plaque is still on the dash! Im trying to find some original photos of it in it's heyday. The truck is supposedly coming with it tonight and I will have some photos to post tomorrow (hopefully) but in the mean time I figured I would raise the flag and see if anyone salutes it.
OK old timers... any shots from 1972?
Post em! Help me track down the history of this bell bottom pant era custom Beetle... somebody has to have something out there !!

OK...the little fella is safe within the compound...here are some pix.
Note the Bug-In dash plaque on the ashtray...
