Now you will be rolling in serious style!

Thanks for the kind words Bro. and that case served me till the end, it will actually still run and get me to work daily but i cant stand to drive my bus when its in pain like that. hopefully its really worth it cause this swap has caused a bit of pain. lookout for the next bus date.

Try explaining it to a 7 year old.

I'm just trying to figure out why a 7 yr old would be reading about why dual carbs wont fit with a stock air cleaner stand?

is there anything else i should lookout for when breaking in this motor, of course i cant synch it so i have the screws turned out 2 1/2 under advise of the engine builder. im planning to connect my linkage and set the idle to run at 2k rpm. whatcha think?
Let us know how it goes.
I built mine with the stock Solex and manifold because I knew it was set and ready to go. Didn't want to be playing with the carbs during the initial break in. Wanted it to instantly fire and get up to speed for a good break in without compromises. And also did the break in while it was sitting on the ground before putting it in. Then after a few hundred miles pulled it and put on the Webers. Was happy to have done it that way since the carbs needed playing with.

I finished all of the cleanup of my compartment, removed the air cleaner stand, and realized that the engine wouldn't fit with the Kadrons assembled to the engine. I was bummed and went in to eat lunch before continuing with the install of my new engine. I mentioned to my wife what the problem was and without looking up from the newspaper she said put the engine in at an angle and the twist it. I did just that and it went in easily and quickly with a few height adjustments along the way. I'm damn glad she was home for lunch! Embarassed Laughing
