I have a '51 speedo pod, but the warning lamp lenses are missing. I have a set of new lenses, but how on Earth do you fit them? Did I see a thread on here a while ago regarding this? (If so, I can't find it!).

Thanks.
Rich.

Hi Rich,
there were two different mounting systems to fix the lenses. Some pods have a small metal ring to fix the lense, and others have a thin bushing which holds the lense in its position.
Cheers
Claus

On my Barndoor Bus, they insert from the back side and are held in by a small metal rings.

Thanks Ev, that appears to be the same on mine following closer inspection. Any tips on removing the metal ring?

Rich.
