Hi guys
I have a75 auto and a few questions. I know that it is a slug on the hills. Would it be any better with carbs over the F.I? I was thinking about doing a water cooled swap ,a 1.8 jetta motor for the extra hp. Have any of you done this swap with an auto ?

First make sure your accelerator is adjusted right. After a long trip I realized that the kickdown wasn't active, so I would putter up hills. Now with it adjusted, it downshifts perfectly!!
