did you want the german made Der Steiner Rads or the RDW made by randar. The randar's are 1/4 the price of the Der Steiner rads but they do not look 1/4 as nice as the Der Steiner Rads either Wink

I am looking for a set of these wheels for my 56 ghia project... does anyone has any information on how can I get a set? or someone selling a set? I will be starting the resto project in a month and I will like to make it around the wheels.

Regards,

Oh, boy, here we go again-

Found by me in reknowned Artist Dave Deal's attic.
Retrieved it, published a photo in VW Trends Magazine
3 months later, Boris had photos of his on the internet
Dave Deal said no one had contacted him about being able to produce his design, they just did it.
Randee Pickton asked me to introduce him to Dave Deal, he wanted to do it the right way, and ask permission. I did, Randee did, and Dave gave permission.
Randee had asked that, after his passing, the RDW (R eal D eal W heel, as homage to Dave Deal)no longer be produced.
One of the current manufacturers donates a portion of the proceeds of the sale of the wheels to Randee's Mom's charity, for neglected injured animals.
I am now in possession of the original wheel, as found by me back in the late 1990's, and it isn't going anywhere, for any price. If you want it, you will have to wait for the Estate Sale
