|
|
I am in the process of trying to finish installing a Watson wiring harness the PO started and abandoned. I am working on the front turn signals and I wanted to ask a question about the ground for them as I am totally lost:
I understand the wiring of the other 3 posts, however the ground wire you can see in the picture, where do I need to run it to? (I will be using new wire for this of course) Any help or insight would be appreciated. I did look through the diagrams here on the TheSamba, however I am a bit lost. _________________ 1972 Super Beetle restoration with my son |

Just run a ground from the base of the turn sig with the other wires and attach to a screw inside the trunk area body. |

Thanks for the tip 69vduber, much appreciated! I was considering installing a ground block as I have seen in other cars, to make things easier. I just wanted to be sure I was on the right track with how to ground things before I got too far ahead.. _________________ 1972 Super Beetle restoration with my son |

Get yourself a handfull of external tooth washers (like #8 and #10) for any screw to body grounds. It will bite through the paint better and help you get a good solid ground. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.
