Not from a Vw, but I run Merkur XRTI head rests that both my wife and I like very much. They are light gray and match pretty well with the interior, are adjustable and can actually support your head while you look out of the windshield not at the ceiling. They fit without modification. One of the best $10 we have spent on the van so far.
