I can just see it now, a parking lot full of Westys with their tops up people cooking on camp stoves and a bon fire in the middle of it all.

do not depend on ft. desoto for camping. they are usually booked up a year in advance and they don't take phone reservations.

ill be there in the westly with the family. also the cooler and grill will be on hand. good time had by all and the best part is im minutes away in the jungle.

Just tweaked some things on my bus bled the brakes and got her ready to make the trek from Orlando to St Pete tomorrow. See ya there. I drive her daily to and from work but this will be my longest trip so far since getting her back on the road.

we had over 80 VWs show upand party on the beach!...I didnt have my camera but alot of theres did! so lets get some photos up guys!...I saw LOTS of beautiful poeple and beautifull VWS!...congradulation to team short bus for winning 2 trophies.BIG thankx to Pacifico Cervesa and Classic Camber look for us again NEXT YEAR!...we had NO idea how many VWS to expect to the parking was an issue(to spread out!)next year will be beter Im told.....VW people ROCK!...lets get those pix up!....

yes me and the family had a blast. nice weather , beautiful cars and great people, what more could you ask for?! and thanks again for the guy( bad with names) for making a uturn to get my hubcap! i think next year we will bring more of our car fleat out since my sone will have his learners permit then. guess we will have to get going on his fastback.

Had a great time. My wife and I drove the bus from Orlando to Clearwater. Picked up my granddaughter and headed to the event.

We had a blast. Saw some cool VWs. Hung out on the beach, had some beers, ate some sushi, and watched the sun go down (sorta, too cloudy) before heading home. The bus drove swimmingly. My camera was out of commission so no pics. But a nice event. The first one I've been able to catch in a few years.

... the missus had a great time at the local jewlery stalls. Has to be said, that this is what the volks life-style is all about. Awesome job at teeing this up!!
